Paizlee

I was just going to start with my most recent picture and try to keep up from there but this was just too important and cute to not post. My sis Tam and her husband Eric welcomed their new sweet little girl into the world on Aug. 29th. She is now 3 1/2 months old and more precious than you could imagine. We are so glad she's here. She might end up a titch spoiled though, she has wonderful parents who love her very much and several aunts (me being her favorite) uncles, cousins and grandparents who waited a long time for her to get here. Congratulations on the start of a beautiful family. We love you!!

Good job guys!

2 months old. Isn't she beautiful! Look at those eyes!

Trick-or-Treating to a few houses wore her right out!

Fishing on Bear Lake

May 30th seemed like as good a day as any to take off for a day of fun so David, his friend Ryan and my two youngest boys hooked on to the boat and headed to Bear Lake for a great day of fishing. The kids had the time of their lives! I wish I could have been there to share in their excitement but I had to stay behind and run the shop. I was just happy the guys thought to take these pict. for me.

TONS of FUN in BURLEY

May 3rd & 4th we got to take a little road trip to Burley, ID for Casey's State Bowling Tournament. I asked my friend Heather to come along and am sooo glad I did. We had a TOTAL BLAST! I can honestly say that a little get away every now and then is definitely the best medicine. Casey had to bowl 4 games each day. He didn't do so well his first two games, not too easy to get used to a ball you've never bowled with before. He realized about McCammon that he had forgot his ball at home. OOPS!!! After trying 3 or 4 different balls, he found one that would work and started doing better. After he had finished his 4th game, we headed to Twin Falls for a little dinner and shoppin'. Then back to the hotel, which was really nice, it had a big indoor pool and a nice continental breakfast, both of which we took full advantage of. After the pool closed for the night, we went back up to our room and had a bit of our own fun!(see pict. below) Call us simple or easily amused but I'm telling you this is the cheapest, funniest fun you will ever have! A $.99 pkg. of knee highs and your set. The funniest part is that you never get the same look twice. The saddest part is that there are so many people out there who have never tried it. If you are one of them, you are missing out BIG TIME! How fun would it be to have a nylon party? Do you think any of our husbands would participate?? Ok, back to bowling, Casey bowled a lot better the second day. I tried taking some pict. of him bowling but we were so far back and zooming in just made it blurry so some video and these pict. is all I have. We hit the road for home as soon as he finished his last game. It was good to get back home but I already can't wait till next year!

Colt loses tooth # 3

04/25/08

It took a little talkin' but Colt finally agreed to let me tie a string around his tooth and yank. I couldn't stand to look at it dangling there any longer. I told him if we didn't get it out, he was going to end up swallowing it while he was eating and not have anything to leave for the toothfairy. He was a little hesitant but in no time it was out. This is the 3rd. tooth Colt has lost. The other top front tooth is going to be the next to go, it's getting pretty loose. Permanant teeth, Wow! Where did the time go?? My boy is growing up too fast.

David's Red Stag Hunt in New Zealand

I'm back to blogging! It only takes a minute to add a new post, I've just been putting it off and now I'm way behind! So here goes, time to catch up!
April 10th through 18th David got to go over to New Zealand on a Red Stag hunt. This was something he had wanted to do for a long time so it was neat that it worked out for him to go. The cost was outrageous but I think he had enough fun to justify it. He flew out of Pocatello into Salt Lake, from Salt Lake to L.A then spent the next 14 hrs. in the air. David HATES to fly so that tells you right there how bad he wanted to do this. As if being on a plane for 14 hrs. wasn't already bad enough, he got sick with the flu in L.A and was sick pretty much the whole trip but made the best of it. While there, he got to shoot a Red Stag, a Ram and a Spanish Goat. He shot the Stag 683 yds. away. It had 8 pts. on one side and 10 on the other. We don't have the heads yet, they are on their way here from New Zealand. When they arrive David is going to get the Stag scored and figures it will score 400+ Boone and Crockett. He will then have them all mounted. That'll be another huge chunk of change. So who out there thinks I have grounds to get a new front door and a sectional for my living room? Ha Ha!!

WAY TO GO CASEY!!!

This is Caseys second year bowling on a league. He has always enjoyed bowling and is now very good at it. They bowl once a week, then in April, the top kids from 4 or 5 bowling alleys in the surrounding areas are chosen to go to Regionals in Pocatello. There they bowl 3 games. Those scores determine whether or not they make it to state. Casey made it last year so me, Casey and my sister Vanessa got to go to Boise for the weekend. We had way too much fun! These pictures are of Casey last weekend at Regionals in Pocatello where he did AWSOME!!!! He took 9th place out of 47. I was so proud of him and also super excited to be able to have another weekend get away. The State Tournaments are in Burley this year which is way cool. We had tons of fun in Boise but it sure was a long drive. Good Job Case! Can't wait to go! Only 18 days left.

Our new addition

Well, here it is, the newest addition to our family. We have tossed around the idea of getting a truck with four doors for awhile now but I had no idea David was gonna go brand new or Dodge. "I'm just going to look, I'll be right back." he said. When he pulled up in it, I figured he was test driving it, since he had only been gone 20-30 min. so I hopped up inside to check it out and laying there on the seat was the folder full of paperwork. Talk about impulsive!!! Hmmm....now might be a good time to show him that new big house I've always wanted. LOL! I do have to admit, he does have good taste. We love it, it's fun to have something new and nice. The kids always want to ride with Dad in the big truck. It's probably a good thing it can't fit through our front door or my side of the bed would no longer be mine.

I won't cry mom. Remember I'm a cowboy!

Briston went in for his Kindergarten shots yesterday. When we got there I told him to be as strong as he could and we would go get an ice cream. He said "I won't cry mom. Remember I'm a cowboy!" Oh yea, what was I thinking! He got 4 shots, two in each arm and just like he said, not one tear. After the second shot he looked at the lady and said "I don't like this" but that was it. Here he is when we got home and as you can see, he wasn't too bothered by it. What a tuff little cowboy!

Woolstenhulme Family Field Trip

It is so funny to watch the neighbors stare as we all board the bus, suitcases in hand. My dad bought this bus about a year and a half ago, it has since become the ONLY way to travel when you have such a great family. This last trip, we left on a Sat. afternoon went to the Logan Fun Park for 2 or 3 hrs. then off to the Hotel for pizza and swimming. Sunday morning we went to IHOP (Yum! Yum!) The trip was over all too soon and we were headed back home but not before my sweet sister Tam and her wonderful husband Eric broke the news we have all been waiting a very long time for. YES! They are having a baby! We all had a total BLAST and are looking forward to our next trip. The ultimate would be a week long trip to California. (I know, I know in my dreams)
